This is going to be one of those years isn’t it. We survived a predicted apocalypse and now Hollywood is attempting to fill the void and imagine the world ending.
M. Night Shyamalan’s ‘After Earth’ is about a Father and Son returning to an earth that the human race abandoned centuries before, only to find it completely inhabited by creatures that were bred to kill humans.
I would question why Shyamalan’s been allowed back behind the camera after a string of not very good films and a horrendous adaptation of the much acclaimed kids animated television series. However the promotional videos look pretty promising, but I would say that I am cautious about this film, with Shyamalan comes both Will and Jayden Smith, both of whom are well likable and convincing action stars.
