Words by Naomi Jeffreys

Friends With Kids is an American Independent comedy ensemble film, which stars most of the Bridesmaids cast, including Jon Hamm, Maya Rudolph, Kristen Wiig and Chris O’Dowd.

Written and directed by Jennifer Westfeldt, who is at the films centre. We follow a group of twenty somethings who have kids and their friends, Julie and Jason (Westfeldt and Adam Scott) who want to have a kid, but without all of the baggage which marriage has.

A steady film which had a budget of $10 million, the film grossed a disappointing $7,251,073 in the U.S.

Despite this, the film has some funny moments, check them out below:

Alex: When we met, you were in your twenties.
Leslie: So?
Alex: So, twenty eight, twenty two, that’s hot. Thirty eight, thirty two, not so much.

Alex: I’m kidding!
Leslie: I’m going to strangle you!

Missy: We ran into a couple of friends from his work downstairs.
