“Best Way Of Learning, He Always Said, Was Doing.”

Words by Naomi Jeffreys

“Best way of learning, he always said, was doing.”  Michael Morpurgo, Farm Boy

Quite often, as human beings, we are inactive and give up easily. Whereas, what we should do, is keep trying and trying, until we are successful.

This is true to film, indeed, many actors will have been rejected before they landed their breakthrough role, did it deter them? Perhaps, rejection is always hard, but one must learn from it and keep trying.

Directors as well, will have been rejected from big studios, but, thanks to the beauty of Independent film and Film Festivals, there is another way to get the word out about your film.

Indeed, an upcoming Indie film, Ingenious which stars Jeremy Renner as a struggling inventor, trying to become successful. Now, this film, which has been independently funded by Arriba films, would have perhaps become lost outside the Hollywood system, if it wasn’t for Film Festivals, this film might have been forgotten.

Clearly, if one keeps trying, everything you want, can come to fruition.
