This is an astonishing claim by former child star Corey Feldman 40, connecting his former Lost Boys co-star Corey Haim and a Hollywood mogul. In an interview with ABC’s Nightline Corey went on to divulge a shocking array of shady activities happening right under everyone’s noses. “literally surrounded” by paedophiles at the age of 14, but didn’t realise “until I was much older what they wanted.” Feldman attributes the death of his childhood friend and co-star Corey Haim 38, to the abuse he suffered which was inflicted on him by a “Hollywood mogul” Feldman refuses to name. Some are speculating that this is for legal reasons, other that the unnamed mogul it’s a very prominent and power figure in the film industry, while others are saying he should just name them to stop more from being abused. Feldman went on to say they were, ”like vultures” in the entertainment industry and alleged that the ‘casting couch’ even applied to children. “It’s all done under the radar… But it’s the big secret.” “I was surrounded by them by the age of 14 and didn’t even know it.” Feldman was a huge star of the eighties starring in such major pictures as, Stand by Me, The Goonies and The Burbs’. While on a reality show together shortly before Haim passed they both confronted each other about the abuse they had suffered. Haim stated, ”You let me get f***** around in my life, raped, when I was about 14 and a half.” “So I’m asking you, what did you do when this this s*** was going down?” Feldman responded, “I was being molested at the same time…What did you do about it?” Feldman had previously claimed he was abused as a child by his assistant in a GQ interview. He believes the distress of the whole ordeal affected Haim for the rest of his brief life. Feldman stated that, “There’s a lot of good people in the industry and there’s a lot of really, really sick corrupt people in this industry.” “ And there are people that have got away with it so long they think they are above the law and that’s got to stop.” Thinking about the scale of time this has been allegedly occurring for is extremely hard to comprehend. Personally I believe there is some substance to what Feldman says regarding Haim and his struggle to deal with what happened and eventual death. Losing his friend seems to have prompted him onto action, and I think he owes it to Haim to name and shame this “Hollywood mogul” so he can be bought to some sort of justice.
